2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce 1 small onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 package (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 2 cups mashed potato flakes 1 1/2 cups sour cream 2/3 cup water 1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Procedure: | Combine first seven ingredients. Pour into crock pot. Combine potato flakes, sour cream and water. Spread over beef mixture. Cover; cook on LOW for 8 hours (HIGH for 4 hours). Sprinkle with cheese 30 minutes before serving. |
