Recipe for Peanut Butter Cookies

Type:   Dessert
Ingredients:   1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Crisco
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Procedure:   Cream sugars, shortening, and peanut butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Form dough into balls. Cris-cross with fork.
Bake 375º for 10- 12 minutes.







Yields:   4 dozen
