Recipe for Christmas cut outs

Type:   Dessert
Ingredients:   1 pound margarine or sweet cream butter, room temp.
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
1 egg
Procedure:   Mix all ingredients until blended. Don't overmix.
Chill dough.
Divide dough in half. Keep half in refrigerator. Roll half of the dough on floured table. (Cover top with waxed paper to keep rolling pin from sticking)
Cut out.
Bake at 350º for 5-7 minutes or until LIGHTLY browned.
Yields:   4-5 dozen
