Filling: 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese 1 cup sugar 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup heavy cream, beaten until stiff Crust 1 prepared chocolate cookie-crumb crust Topping: 1 cup chocolate chips 3 tablespoons brewed coffee chopped peanuts for garnish |
Procedure: |
Make filling. Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, peanut butter and vanilla in bowl. Fold in half of the whipped cream. Fold in rest until blended. Spread filling in crust. Microwave chocolate chips and coffee. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Spread on pie. Refrigerate for a while. Overnight is best Sprinkle with chopped peanuts if desired. |
