Recipe for Chili

Type:   Soup
Ingredients:   1 pound ground beef
1 large onion...chopped
1 green pepper...chopped
1 large can tomato juice
1 large can kidney beans
1 medium can tomato sauce...optional
3-4 tablespoons garlic powder
3-4 tablespoons chili powder
salt, pepper
Procedure:   Brown the ground beef with the onion and green pepper in a large heavy pot. Add some chili powder and garlic powder while browning the meat and vegetables. Add beans, tomato juice, and tomato sauce. Add rest of chili powder and garlic powder. Stir and simmer.
(Better if made the day before)
(Add as much garlic and chili powder as you like)
Yields:   a large pot
