Recipe for Classic Pecan Pie

Type:   Dessert
Ingredients:   3 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup light or dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons melted margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cup pecans (whole or broken)

1 9 inch unbaked deep dish pie crust
Procedure:   Preheat oven to 350º.
In a large bowl, combine first five ingredients and stir. Stir in pecans and pour into pie crust.
Cover edge of pie crust with aluminum foil to prevent burning.
Bake 50-55 minutes. Cool on rack.
Yields:   1 pie (8 servings)
