Recipe for Pumpkin Pie Squares


For crust:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine

For filling
2 cups pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon ginger
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cloves
For topping
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons margarine

Mix crust ingredients until crumbly. Press into ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Combine filling ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour onto crist and bake for 20 minutes.
Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over pumpkin mixture. Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.
